    Largest industrial floors, reinforced with steel fibers   

    TBWES, subsidiary of Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions, is one of the foremost boiler manufacturers in the country, providing steam generation solutions for process and power needs. They needed a durable floor for their new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra.

    The challenge

     

    With a project size of over 150,000 m², it was one of the largest industrial floors to be reinforced with steel fibers in all of India.

    The solution

     

    Stringent dispersion testing of Dramix® steel fibers was undertaken, guaranteeing safe reinforcement of this saw-cut floor. The elimination of mesh reinforcement has made the construction process safer (no tripping), faster and more cost efficient.
